Straight pipe to 90°, in one continuous pass
The coil heats a narrow band, the arm swings the pipe through its radius, and water quenches the steel as it leaves.

The coil brings a narrow band to about 1,000 °C.

Push and bend
The pipe is pushed through the coil as the arm forms the radius.

Quench
Water locks in the properties as steel leaves the hot zone.

Eight controlled steps, one plant

Receive and verify
Mill certificate review, PMI and dimensional check.

Set up
Radius, angle and speed programmed; coil and clamp fitted.

Induction heat
A narrow band of the pipe is heated to about 1,000 °C.
- 04
Bend and quench
Pushed through the coil as the arm forms the bend.
- 05
Heat treat
Stress relief or quench and temper restores properties.
- 06
Test
UT, MPI, hardness, ovality and wall-thinning checks.
- 07
Finish
Bevelled, hydrotested, blasted and coated as required.

Release
Data record, dossier and MTC issued; marked and dispatched.

Logistics
Mill to site, on one number per bend
Khalifa Port, our bonded yard and the plant sit side by side in KEZAD, so pipe moves from the quay to the bending line without leaving the zone. One reference follows every bend to site.
Line pipe is ordered from our partner mills, or free-issued by you, and inspected before it ships.
Pipe travels as consolidated project cargo on our logistics partners’ fleets.
Customs clearance is handled in house at Khalifa Port, next door to the plant.
Pipe is stored and preserved in our bonded yard beside the port, ready for the bending line.
Every bend is made, tested and coated in KEZAD, and logged under its own number.
Heavy-lift dispatch by road to KSA and Oman, or by sea with re-export papers for Iraq, Africa and beyond.
Bends arrive kitted in installation order, each with its full data record.

Data record
Every bend ships with its own record
Each bend generates its data twice: once to make it, once to prove it. We keep both and hand them to you with the bend.
- Logged continuously. Temperature, push speed, pressure, angle and radius for the full arc.
- Proven per bend. Wall thinning, ovality, hardness and NDT results for every piece.
- Released with paperwork. Data record, dossier and mill test certificates at dispatch.
- Fully traceable. From mother-pipe heat number to delivery note.

Pipetec Solutions Manufacturing LLC proudly participated in Make it in the Emirates 2025, held at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 19 to 22 May 2025. The event brought together leading industrial players, policymakers, and innovators to highlight the UAE’s rapidly growing advanced manufacturing ecosystem.
For Pipetec, this was far more than an exhibition, it was a defining chapter marked by a landmark product debut, six strategic partnerships, and high-level government recognition.
A First-of-its-Kind UAE Manufactured Product
At the event, Pipetec unveiled a major milestone for the region’s industrial sector the first-ever made-in-UAE 48-inch OD hot induction bend.
This product represents a significant advancement in large-diameter pipe bending technology within the UAE, reinforcing Pipetec’s position as a regional leader in hot induction bending manufacturing.
Six Strategic MoUs Signed at the Event
Pipetec signed six Memorandums of Understanding during the exhibition, strengthening collaborations across sustainability, manufacturing, and investment:
- EMERGE: Implementation of a 510 kWp rooftop solar power plant at Pipetec’s Abu Dhabi facility, supporting the company’s clean energy transition.
- MA HAWA: Deployment of the world’s first steam-to-drinking water conversion technology, targeting production of 10,000 litres of potable water per day.
- Al Gharbia Pipe Company: Collaboration for supply and integration of LSAW line pipes within the UAE, strengthening the domestic supply chain.
- Seah Steel UAE: Partnership with a leading UAE-based pipe manufacturer to enhance local supply chain integration and in-country value.
- Total Packaging Solutions: Development of ADNOC-standard packaging solutions for hot induction bends, ensuring export-grade quality and compliance.
- EPICON CAPITAL: Strategic collaboration to explore sustainable industrial investment opportunities aligned with Pipetec’s long-term expansion roadmap.
